The Howard M. Pollack Medal is awarded annually to a distinguished radiologist who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of uroradiology and abdominal radiology, in addition to the Society itself. The Howard M. Pollack Medal is a continuation of the Gold Medal that was bestowed under the former Society of Uroradiology, with the last medal being bestowed under the SUR in 2012.
