DFP Annual Report Form

All reports must be submitted electronically via the form below.
Reports should come from the DFP Chair and cannot be edited once submitted.

DFP Information

(This information may the same or updated from your initial application or most recent annual report).
Please indicate in your response if the information below has changed in the last year.

Use same numbering schema as DFP Application or prior Annual report. Please mention if the panel has decided to abandon particular projects.
Please list below any ‘deliverables’ and “to-do’s” that support DFP goals for which assignments have been made and timelines developed. Projects should address how the DFP will improve interdisciplinary collaboration; quality of image acquisition, interpretation, or communication; and patient care.
These items may be forwarded as suggestions to the editors of Abdominal Radiology and members of the SAR Program Educational Committee, who will independently evaluate the merit of the proposed items for their venue. Feedback has already been provided for the 2017 Annual meeting. Proposed contributions could include reviews, collaborative observational series, white papers, workshops, or plenary sessions with speakers.
New goals may be in place if original short-term goals have been completed.
Re-application required at the end of every 3rd year, to renew for another 3 years.

Financial/Infrastructure Support
SAR will reimburse for up to $1,200 for DFP Consultant travel to the Annual Meeting. Administrative funds for DFP websites and annual meetings are also covered by the Society. The DFP OC is pursuing SAR pilots for teaching files with various vendors; Additional financial support is not available through SAR at this time. Individual panels may use individual research and institutional funds and resources for SAR DFP projects, and simply need to inform the Oversight Committee of these resources. Corporate support can be solicited after approval of the SAR Board and in conjunction with the Corporate Support Committee.

Changes in Membership and Leadership

Primary criteria for panel leadership and member selection should be demonstrated expertise in the disease, willingness to engage and, for returning members, a track record of engagement in DFP activities. However, every effort should be made and to ensure that DFP composition reflects the gender, ethnic, generational and geographic diversity of the SAR membership.

Please provide for each new Consultant rotating on DFP this year:
• Name, Position, Institution
• Email
• What are the qualifications of this individual, and how will they further the DFP goals?
• Is this recommendation approved by two-thirds of the proposed DFP members?
• Has the Consultant agreed to serve?
